Many months ago, a contributor said this place had great burgers and since I was in the area I decided to seek it out. Not only is there a burger, there’s a number of specialty burgers, and a novelty burger that weighs in at a massive 1.5lbs. That’s twice the size of a Triple Whopper. Men the size of Paul Bunyan or Godzilla will be disappointed to hear that the absurd 9-pounder advertised a year ago is gone.

Even so, what single in their right minds would order a 1.5 lb burger as a solo meal? Then again, this is Las Vegas so arguably nobody is in their right mind.

You see where this is going, don’t you?

Let me take a quick detour and mention the other elements. While the silverware and dishes seemed clean, the dining room was filthy like a run-down Denny’s, and the borderline of what I could tolerate in resort dining. Service was slow at times and average at others.

Now then, a family of four ordered two of these giant burgers and split them amongst themselves, and theirs were cooked at the same time as mine. I have no idea if that had an effect on the wait (no, not weight) or the quality of the food. However the meat was lousy with lots of big fatty chunks and the bun seemed a little stale. But then again, you aren’t paying for quality, are you? This isn’t the kobe burger at Tableau, this is basically a cheeseburger buffet. If only to avoid any shame of gluttony, I’d like to point out that I was several bites short of actually eating the whole burger, and I intentionally had a light dinner the night before and skipped breakfast to make sure I was as hungry as possible. And I completely avoided the french fries.

All said, the jumbo burger at the Las Vegas Club is probably an institution akin to getting drunk and passing out in your hotel room. You’ve always wanted to do it just once, but once you have you’ll always remember why you wouldn’t want to do it again.

I’ve visited vegas trice in the past year. Both times I went to the Upper Deck for the late night specials. The steak and eggs is what you would expect for a 2 dollar steak, but they give you a large portion of hash browns that are good. No skimping here. Also a pile of toast. Too Much to eat. Also try the ham and eggs. I must have been given a pound of ham. Again, too much to eat. The service both times was top notch. The bus boy could not speak english, but knew what good service was. I made a point to tip him more than what my meal cost.

Good food and great prices. Best hamburgers in Vegas. Love the all you can eat ribs but they had too much BBQ sauce. Don’t miss this one.

We love this place! Great prices – great food. My husband gets this huge T-bone steak at a really reasonable price. We go everytime we are in LV.

Nothing wrong with this place. Just standard straight forward coffee shop food served at reasonable prices. We had breakfast there, and it was perfectly fine – and quite a deal. Server was very down to earth and prompt. Thumbs up!
